What does your church believe?

For information about who we are, visit the About Us page.

When do you offer services?

We offer a worship service each Sunday morning at 10:00. Sunday mornings also offer breakfast at 8:30 and Sunday School at 9:00.

There is an additional service on Sunday evenings at 6:00, AWANA (our kids program) on Tuesday evenings at 6:00, and an adult Bible study on Wednesdays at 6:00. On the first Sunday of each month, we meet at Wheeler Mission's Camp Hunt at 5:00 for a meal and fellowship. Learn more here.

When is the church office open?

Joyce is in the office on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9:00am - 5:00pm.

Nick is available in the office most Mondays and Thursdays from 9am-3:30pm

Are there programs for my kids at your church?

Yes! We have Sunday School classes for all ages at 9:00 on Sunday mornings. During the 10:00 worship service, we offer a "Children's Church" service downstairs after songs and communion are over.

On Tuesdays from 6:00pm - 7:30pm, our AWANA program takes place downstairs. Dinner is served, and kids of ALL ages are welcome! Our youth group (grades 6-12) meets during this time, too.

What should I wear on Sunday morning?

You are welcome to wear whatever you are comfortable in! Some attendees wear dresses or ties, some wear khakis, and others wear jeans. There is no "right" thing to wear on any of the days we offer services.

It's been a long time since I've been to church. Will I be welcome?

Absolutely! We will do our best to help you feel at home with us. We try to keep visitors in mind as we go through our service so that we explain what is happening. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask someone!

What kind of music is played during the service?

We play a mixture of traditional hymns and contemporary Christian music.

Who should take communion?

Anyone who has been baptized may take communion.

Do I take the communion as soon as I get it, or should I hold it so that everyone takes it at once?

You may take communion at any time. Many people spend a few moments reflecting and praying before they take it, but you do not need to wait for anyone else.

Why do some people raise their hands in the air when they sing?

Here is a GREAT blog post where Nate Beaird explains why he raises his hands during worship.

What happens during a typical Sunday morning service?

1. Opening Song

2. Announcements

3. Worship songs

4. Communion

5. Offering / Special Music

6. Sermon

7. Invitation (song & invitation to pray)
